The Warlord Process Image 2
The sculpture is nearly ready to be molded. I used small bits of brass wire for the stitching around the collar, and thin strips of tape to simulate leather wrappings on the rope holding the trophy skulls. I used aluminum armature wire rolled into rings for the chain mail. Note that the cheek guards have not been fully detailed yet. I felt that the character needed to be just a bit more battle worn, so I eventually added a scar, creating a blind left eye.
